By. Bella Lee
As the sun sets in the Los Angeles sky, Grupo Firme readies themselves to enter the BMO Stadium. The night grows cold and the crowd roars as the opening music plays. Grupo Firme opens their night to a welcoming crowd.
The group entered the music scene in 2017. Founded in Tijuana, Baja California, they did not make an impact but were noticed enough. In 2020, their fame soared to new heights from singles like “Pídeme” and a collaboration with Colombian artist Maluma. In 2021, they won a Latin Grammy with their album Nos Divertimos Lo Grando Lo Imposible. All of these feats granted them a stadium tour in 2022. Thanks to the fans, they have reached the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, which has a capacity of 22,000 seats.
A short video entry played before the set started, which only roused the crowd. Eduin Caz appeared on the screen and walked through backstage to the stage door. They opened the night with “El Beneficio De La Duda.” The crowd danced and sang along. The entire stadium shook with the movement of 22,000 Grupo Firme fans. Every soul added to the energy of the stage and Grupo Firme played with passion.
The energy of the night kept going with songs like “La Historia De Mis Manos,” “El Güero,” and “Se Fue La Pantera.” During the set list, the crowd had the opportunity to join in the singing. The anthem of the people rose into the night air. In the very beginning of their set, the lead singers took several shots of alcohol to set the tone for the rest of the show. They invited all of the audience to join them in drinking the whole night and promised there would be more alcohol to be had.
Grupo Firme was made for the BMO Stadium. Their stage was full of pyrotechnics and dancers. The full band created a beautiful atmosphere to fill the stadium. At every moment, there was movement both on the stage and in the audience. The dancing was constant. From the stage to the nosebleeds, every soul was enjoying the show.
Grupo Firme delivered an incredible and dynamic performance to their Los Angeles fans. They are destined to return even stronger and better, gathering a party in the stadium just as they did this year.
