When he first announced that he was diagnosed with Laryngopharyngeal Reflux (LPR) he was very vocal about how devastating it was for him and his journey with everything. His music has always been so soothing and comforting for many and to see such a talented artist go through that was heartbreaking for many. But I can’t imagine how difficult it was for Luke and I feel like this song let his audience and listeners understand a glimpse of what he felt and what he had to endure.
The thought of never singing again or being able to do something you love and are so passionate about is devastating and this song captures that so perfectly. Once you listen to this single you can see how he perfectly captures peace and void. He's conveying something so beautiful. This is a song that you can rely on when everything around you seems to be crumbling.
